Description
This vintage Thanksgiving postcard features a sepia brown image of the goddess Demeter with the horn of plenty – otherwise know as the cornucopia – in a field of cornstalks with never ending food coming out of the horn of plenty.
The greeting says:
May the blessings you receive this Thanksgiving,
Exceed the good wishes sent you by your friends.
This vintage postcard is in very good condition with a slight stain in front – bottom right corner; and on the back someone pulled off the postage stamp, leaving some stamp residue. Neither one of these issues detract from the beauty of the postcard in the least.
