This vintage postcard while technically NOT a Valentines Day postcard speaks of love for sure. Or lack of it. Our little Dutch boy with his wooden shoes waits at his empty mailbox with his cat. His forlorn face shows his disappointment with getting no love letters. So it fits here in our romance department!
The greeting reads:
It’s hardt by a luffing feller yet, ven no schveet letters he don’d get!
This vintage postcard is unused and is in excellent condition. Ballparking the date of this postcard to around 1929. Certainly no later. Very slight lightweight foxing stains on back. Hardly noticeable.
