Description
The vintage postcard features a view of the beach at Atlantic City New Jersey full of bathers as they were called 100+ years ago. Note the Victorian Era of dress – long dresses typical to the time. Also, as a point of trivia, swimwear was made of wool. Not the most comfortable in the heat of summer. And still people flocked to the Jersey Shore and enjoyed themselves.
Dating this postcard to 1910 as it is an early divided back postcard. Printed in Germany.
